Dracula

Here are some photos of a fancy rebind I did of the 1912 edition of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula,' with suitable red stamping and veiny endpapers.

Hi there Don such a joy to find the video on You Tube
with you demonstrating how to do a double page fan binding of single sheets.

We are doing a crazy project where we create books using Blurb then we pull the book apart when it gets delivered
They are so called 'perfect bound' so come apart of course as single sheets. Now that we have seen this technique demonstrated by you - we are pleased that we can put them back together again with our additional alterations etc etc. I am wondering though to what extent the book can be opened flat if it has been bound in this way ??
I would appreciate a response from you on this.

Also..........................PLEASE would you enable the "Follow by Email" gadget in the 'add a gadget' option box of your layout. All of course on your Dashboard.

Please will you let me know once you have done
that as I would love to keep up to date with your excellent blog.
Also please add this (your) blog address in an email to me at

best wishes
